Your Data & Privacy Rights

Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR where it applies), you have rights concerning your personal data, including access, rectification, portability, restriction, objection, and deletion. This page explains how to submit a request by email and what to expect.

What Data Can Be Deleted

You may request deletion of the following personal data:

  • Vehicle information and preferences
  • Charging session history and usage patterns
  • Location data and saved charging stations
  • Payment-related metadata (we do not store full card numbers)
  • App usage analytics and preferences
  • Communication history and support tickets

Data We Must Retain

Some data may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, or security reasons, such as:

  • Transaction and billing records for accounting and tax (as required by law)
  • Fraud prevention and security logs
  • Legal compliance records
  • Anonymized aggregate usage statistics

Where retention is required, we will limit use and anonymize data where possible.

How to Submit a Data & Privacy Request (Email Only)

To submit any request regarding access, correction, portability, restriction, or deletion of your personal data, please contact us by email. We will verify your identity before processing requests to protect user accounts and data.

Please include: the email address registered with your Korenti account, a clear description of the action you request (e.g., delete my account, request data export), and any information that helps verify your identity.

Response time: We will acknowledge receipt within 72 hours and aim to complete or update you on the request within 30 days where possible.

Deletion Process Timeline

Immediate Actions (Within 24 hours)

  • We suspend account access for safety while verifying the request when appropriate
  • Payment methods and sensitive tokens are removed from active records
  • Personal identifiers are flagged for deletion

Complete Deletion (Within 30 days)

  • Data is removed from active systems and user-facing services
  • Backups are purged according to our retention schedule where feasible
  • We notify third-party processors to delete your data when applicable
  • You receive confirmation once deletion is complete

Consequences of Data Deletion

If you choose to delete your data:

  • Your account will be permanently closed
  • Access to charging history, saved stations, and preferences will be lost
  • Saved payment methods and associated tokens will be removed
  • Deleted data cannot be recovered

Partial Deletion Options

You may request deletion of specific categories of data instead of full account deletion (for example, location history or analytics data). Indicate your preference in the email.
