Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

Korenti is a platform that helps you locate and initiate charging sessions at third‑party charging stations. We do not operate charging hardware or control station billing. Refunds for charging sessions are handled by the charging station operator according to their own policies. Korenti can assist with inquiries and escalate issues to operators when needed, but we are not the party that issues refunds.

Charges & Refund Responsibility

The operator of the charging station determines pricing, billing, and refund eligibility. If you believe a charge was incorrect (for example, due to a technical failure, overcharge, or station fault), the operator is the primary party to review and process any refund.

What Korenti does

  • Provide session details (timestamps, energy delivered, session ID) to help you and the operator investigate.
  • Assist by forwarding your refund request to the station operator when contact details are available.
  • Advise on next steps and evidence to include (session ID, photos, screenshots).

What Korenti does not do

  • Issue direct refunds for charging sessions billed by third‑party operators.
  • Guarantee refund outcomes — final decision and timing rest with the operator or your payment provider.

How to Request a Refund

Recommended first step — Contact the Operator

When possible, contact the charging station operator directly. Include:

  • Session ID and timestamps
  • Location of the station
  • Photos or evidence of the issue (if applicable)
  • Receipt or billing information

If you need Korenti's help

  1. Email our support team at support@korenti.app with "Refund Request" in the subject.
  2. Provide the session ID, date/time, station location, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence.
  3. We will forward the information to the operator when possible and update you on progress.

Refund Timeline & Outcomes

  • Operator review times vary; Korenti will relay operator responses when available.
  • If an operator approves a refund, it will be processed according to their chosen method (usually to the original payment method).
  • If you paid by card, you may also contact your card issuer to dispute a charge if operator resolution is not possible.

Third‑Party Charges

Some stations are operated by third parties with their own terms and refund rules. Korenti is not responsible for decisions made by station operators. We will cooperate with operators and provide relevant session data to assist investigations.

No Direct Refunds by Korenti

To be clear: Korenti does not provide refunds for charges billed by charging station operators. If you require a refund, follow the steps above to contact the operator first, and contact Korenti support if you need assistance escalating the issue.

Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with an operator's decision, you may request a further review from Korenti support and, where applicable, raise a dispute with your payment provider or local consumer protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and on our website; the "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
